These Citizen 295-38 devices were originally not batteries at all, but miniature capacitors. More recently however, Citizen has upgraded their specification and replaced them with minute rechargeable batteries.

This is a genuine Citizen watch capacitor / battery for use in Citizen Ecodrive solar cell watches.

Consisting of a Panasonic MT 920 with special connector plates, this Citizen part 295-38 is a replacement capacitor for the following Citizen watch movement calibres:

C601,
C605,
C615.

IF YOU DON'T SEE ONE OF THESE NUMBERS ON YOUR WATCH THEN THIS IS THE WRONG BATTERY FOR YOU.

These 295-38 MT920 with tag are almost exclusively used in Citizen electronic watches.
