This NP-FH50 or NPFH50 Lithium-Ion Digital camera battery fits many Sony digital cameras and camcorders. It is a DIRECT replacement for the Sony NP-FH50
series battery.
This battery power pack provides SONY camcorders with power through the DC in power port and not the battery terminal. It is supplied with a mini cable that connects the battery to the power-in port.
On some camcorders, such as the FP series Handicams, this battery can be directly used without the cable.
Because it's not a Sony infoLithium battery, and the battery attaches to the charging socket on the camera, the remaining battery life indicator isn't reliable so the indicator light on the battery turns to yellow to warn you that between ten and twenty minutes of recording time remain.
